Kadang iseng browsing di internet membuahkan hasil yang bermanfaat, terutama untuk diri sendiri, ini terjadi sewaktu pengen cari-cari terminal emulator untuk berbagai macam protocol yang paling sering digunakan, diantaranya adalah ssh, telnet maupun rdp.

Putty adalah salah satu terminal emulator yang paling atau mungkin bisa dibilang sangat-sangat populer, tapi akan sangat mengganggu jikalau kita mengkoneksikan ke banyak mesin unix, karena kurangnya dukungan multi-tab, kecuali jikalau di mesin unix anda menggunakan screen. Alternatif lainnya adalah mungkin menggunakan aplikasi Secure crt yang mungkin lebih powerfull, degnan multi-tab dan juga chat-tabnya, dan pastinya dengan pengingat passwordnya, tapi ini justru menimbulkan kontra disisi securitynya, dan aplikasi ini berbayar tentunya.

Nah karena tingkat keisengan yang lumayan sudah tinggi, akhirnya saya menemukan Mremote -yang pastinya mungkin sudah basi- aplikasi terminal emulator dengan dukungan berbagai macam protocol seperti disebutkan diatas tadi, dan pastinya gratis.

Mremote disini seperti dijelaskan di situsnya adalah fully open-source terminal emulator, dengan mengudukung multi-tab, dan berbagai macam protocol seperti dibawah ini :

• RDP (Remote Desktop)
• VNC (Virtual Network Computing)
• ICA (Citrix ICA)
• SSH (Secure Shell)
• Telnet (TELecommunication NETwork)
• HTTP/S (Hypertext Transfer Protocol)
• Rlogin (Rlogin)
• RAW

Selain itu Mremote juga menyediakan external tools, seperti scp, sftp dan port scanner, dan mungkin satu lagi adalah dukungan sql servernya, dimana kita dapat menyimpan semua koneksi dari konfigurasi yang kita buat sebelumnya kedalam database sql server tadi.

Semakin tertarik bukan, oh iya, sebelum menginstall Mremote ini ada baiknya ada melengkapi beberapa persyaratan yang diperlukannya seperti Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Microsoft Terminal Services Client 6.0, Putty dan Citrix ICA Client, satu lagi, Microsoft windows (32 Bit) environment only.

Yups..semua orang pasti pernah ngerasai ‘enak’ nya lebaran dikantor, entah loyalitas, terpaksa, lemburan yang berlimpah, ato banyak alasan lah.
kali ini setelah menunaikan sholat ied, dan bersimpuh (terlalu berlebihan kayanya deh) di hadapan ortu, gue langsung cabut ke kantor.

Here’s the problem summary
First we have issue about Undo_Retention (undo_retention before = 129600),
yes the Undo retention was set improper, this keep the query for a long-long time, this fix with alter system set undo_retention=14000, and then alter system set query_rewrite_enabled=false scope=both sid='*', Second we get error-code message from the client who’s connect to the databases (ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel), this cause the connection to server was break see problem next(third),
Third the database was slow response and you know what, like on schedule, the slow response was start at 6 am to 10 am, probably issue I/O contention and delay commit on database and the application.

After discuss with team application and running the statpack, known was we have very2 high traffic (probably lebaran days), solve for while was stop the backup script, rename and truncate the table (the table was B*tree index, hu..uh) was record the traffic,
for a while response to from application to database was come back normally and the database was back in good performance,
this solve..not quite.

Today i have the same problem, confuse, of course..
i think maybe memory was, cause (again) high traffic but handle only one node (first design RAC), so i change (again) pga parameter cause the ratio pga was 54% and for the optimum ratio i change to 1.5G (backup first –create pfile ='/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/dbs/init_141007.ora' from spfile–), alter system set pga_aggregate_target=1500M scope=both sid='*' and then restart.
was not impact, hu..uh..
I see the log buffer parameter, and then I see the log_checkpoint_interval was set improper (1410065407) , this impact to delay checkpoint, so for the faster checkpoint with no delay, I change to default “0″ with alter system set log_checkpoint_interval=0 scope=both id='*'
and you know what, the response queue from application to database was back to normal.

Know i must to distribute the busy datafile to other mountpoint and change from raid 5 to raid 1+0…Puih

Today the functional of a website not only to know who you are, know ‘bout your profile or your sucks hobbies, but the functionally now much better and complex, from detail information about your organization, ‘bout your organization activities, promotion tools and online trade market.
Some organization which have a lot of activity every week like no “tooth”, if the activity not known by many people who want to know about your organization.

Marketing or Public Relation department maybe solve the problem with hair the media to distribute the information about the last activities, but the problem of course the money who out many expensive and the time ‘bout know your activities in media so short.

Website was solving the problem coz the marketing or Public Relation department just fills the content (before that the webmaster works hard…) the website from anywhere anyplace (internet society) and no expiration (depending the webmaster rule, hehehehe..).

Kemaren serper 2003 dikantor bermasalah, knapa?
temen gue bilang, masalahnya timbul sehabis serper standby, atawa kalo serper ga dipakai sama sekali, loh..masa sih, :D.
penasaran tak coba, wekz..didiemkan en dipakai selama kurang dari setengah jam, langsung hung sama skali, kompi klien yang mo login kerserper juga ga dapet IP, dicoba statik sama aja, tapi anehnya yang sudah terlanjur konek ke serper urung punya masalah, loh..ya inilah windows..duh.

coba cek proses yang berjalan, manual aja pake “task manager”, ko ada proses baru “W32MVS”, apa itu, liat on start>run>services.msc, loh ada serpis “Microsoft Visual Studio”, sejak kapan nginstall produk gituan di serper, puih..
penasaran yang berkelanjutan, langsung masukin keyword on google, dapet link berikut WORM_CODBOT.BF,
oh ternyata si codot, sial2..
langsung remove dah tuh serpis (safemode:mode) en patch lagi (lagi..) tuh windows..duh
